Episode 4 Premiere!
You guys! Episode 4 of Fucked in Space will go live on YouTube on Wednesday, February 6th. That’s only 3 weeks and 2 days from now! I am both very excited, and a little nervous to see the culmination of over 8 years of production finally revealed in all of its glory. That’s right – shooting for episode 4 officially began on June 26th, 2010. I know this because I looked at the date on the first tape for the episode (Yes – episode 4 was shot of miniDV tape, to give you a sense of how long ago we started working on this thing). However, despite the lower quality of the camera and the format we were shooting in, I think the footage has held up quite nicely, as evidenced by this clip from the beginning of the tape. This is literally the first thing that we shot for the episode. Although this clip will not be seen in the final edit of the show, I think it captures the spirit of FIS quite nicely, and features a rare, behind the scenes moment with the star of the show, David Whitman (aka, Doctor Scuba), and writer/co-creator Matt Weber. Enjoy.
